'Houses In My Heart' an illustrated memoir by Carleton Varney, recalling  an international decorator's colorful journey.

Following his personal and professional path from Massachusetts to The White House, The Middle East and around the world, always with color and his signature style of bold contrasts and scale. Varney's professional decorating journey starts under the mentorship of Dorothy Draper, then to becoming president of Dorothy Draper & Company Inc. in 1964, to the present day.
